How the economy upended young architects’ hopes

Caela J. McKeever was at one time, a young architect who after becoming disillusioned with the profession decided to create a survey of others in her same situation to figure out why architecture as a field is eating its young at a greater rate than normal.  What she found was that many young architectural interns were disenchanted with their experiences after finding out the lofty ideals they learned in school had little bearing in an actual office environment.
